I am attempting to use the form customization in Revo to create a config page. I am trying to hide every tab except the Template Variables.

    My Rules are below:

Now, when I go to the document that these rules are pertaining to I get the results below. It looks like the settings from the Page Settings tab are showing up in the Template Variables tab:

Until I click on the tab, which then changes to:

    Any ideas?

This is a known issue: http://bugs.modx.com/browse/MODX-2357

At first glance this issue appeared to be addressed following the 2.0.4 upgrade, but as I continued with the Form Customization I encountered it again.

I am using the same Rules as previously (at this stage everything operated as expected), but as I created a new rule (9) to add a new tab:

I received the following results in which the Create/Edit Document content was showing up inappropriately:

Yes, it works, but appears to break again only after you create a new tab.

Hm, this seems to happen *only* if the tab Create rule is *after* the hide tab rules.

This definitely justifies the need for a ’ranking’ ability for FC rules (was going to do it in 2.1, might be justified earlier now.)

An easy way to reorder them is to duplicate the 1st rule, then remove it, since the duplicate will now be later.

For me it worked vice versa... now it doesn’t work at all.

Pity to see that I can do less in Revo than in Evo :/
