I’m new to modx. I just installed Revolution 2.0.3. None of the graphic/icons for the buttons in the Manager are displaying (i.e. the MODx logo in the top right corner, the Next/Prev button graphics, expand tree, etc). I checked the server and all of the graphics files are in the proper directories.
I don’t know if this is related or not but the only issue I came across during the installation was in the section about the database charset options that appear following the database connection test section. The drop down boxes were empty/blank. When I created the database I set it to UTF-8 and the connection collation to utf8_general_ci. When I checked the system info within modx it shows all of my database info except the Database Charset label doesn’t display a value.
UPDATE I found this error log: (I had to rename the ht.access file to .htaccess to be able to get the setup to run so maybe some of these errors are related to that)

SOLVED
It turned out my FTP software loaded the png files in ascii instead of binary.
I’m still getting the errors listed in my previous post but it seems to be working OK.
