I’m very excited about MODx which i’m currently trying out with interest and pleasure. Just one question, what if i decide to start to work productively with Evolution 1.0 - will it be possible to port a running website to Revolution when it’s ready for production use? How much effort will that need? What about compatibility of modules?

Sorry, if this has been asked before, but i could not find a matching post.

It should definitely be possible and mostly automated. We keep migration in mind as a primary focus of development.

Thank you very much for your quick reply, that is very encouraging and satisfying!
Looking for an alternative for TYPO3, which performs too clumsy for me, i just recently came across that amazing CMS.
Today i installed Evolution 1.0 and what i’ve seen so far left me very impressed!
I took me only a short while to get used to the terminology of the manager menu.
i love how everything is editable out of the box, templates, modules...!
and the perfomance is incredibly fast, which is true both for backend and frontend!

        Thanks again,
        Michael
