Production and stage

I have created a context called stage but what i want to do is move all the documents from live to stage with the SAME (id) how would I do this.

Batcher might do this for you by changing the resources contexts, I’m not sure. http://modxcms.com/extras/package/684

That is an excellent idea! but I don’t think you can keep the ID numbers...

but you should file it as a feature..
could have 3-4 different contexts with
stage, production(web), development, etc...
