Switching Servers

I am moving a site from GoDaddy to iPage somewhere this week.
Never done this before...

Any tips on downloading the database, uploading it again, moving files, reinstall, etc.

Both servers are Linux, mysql 5.x, php 5

I’m a bit nervous about it... It always sounds easy, but there’s always a problem!
Thanks!

It’s thoroughly covered in the documentation at http://rtfm.modx.com/
