Hi guys,
I’ve been trying to setup a website with Modx Revo 2.0.2-pl. Everything was going fine till I tried to get rid of the "html" suffix on the friendly urls.
I went to Content Types, and not realizing you could edit the entries directly (the UI isn’t really very clear here) I removed the html entry, and recreated it...and thats where things started going south.
At first my document tree disappeared, and when I tried to preview the site, I’d get an error like "Call to a member function getExtension() on a non-object...line 150 in modcachemanager" (don’t remember the exact text, sorry...)
Eventually I disactivated the friendly urls, and that brought the document tree back...but now when I preview the site, I just get a big fat red "Error 500 - A fatal application error has been encountered." And everything in the manager seems to be working fine, so I can’t even begin to guess what is wrong...Any ideas?
I’m on a Linux machine with Apache 2.0.63, PHP 5.2.14, and MySQL 5.0.91
Update: ok, when I have friendly URLs off, I get the 500 error. This happens even if I rename .htaccess to ht.access.
When I DO turn on friendly URLs, then I get this: Fatal error: Call to a member function getExtension() on a non-object in /home/ernestos/public_html/deathandthemaiden/core/model/modx/modcachemanager.class.php on line 150
I also get that in the manager when I try to create or edit a new document.
Ok, figured it out. Had to reset the content type for each resource. Hadn’t seen that in the Page Settings tab. Carry on...
