Hey!
I’m looking for an add-on to link/unlink authenticated users (in the web context) to resources.
At the moment I need this feature for users being able to join events. This add-on may be used for other applications, too:
- Storing participants of an event (which is a resource or document describing the event: Users may click a "I’ll join this event" or "I don’t join" button to be linked/unlinked to the event
- Something like "i-like" from facebook: When a user likes the page he’s currently reading he presses the "i-like" button and is linked with the page
Maybe this could be done in a Quip way (
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Quip) where users can leave comments to documents.
Storing the kind of relationship ("likes", "takes part", ...) of the link between user and resource may be interessting.
What do you think and are there some add-ons which maybe usefull for this?
