    Hi,

I’m looking into uploading a long csv file that contains data about products. If my structure is that each product is going to be a resource under a parent container resource, is it possible to directly insert csv data into modx’s table that handles resources and have this tedious task automated at least by way of SQL? Basically, there’s two ways to look at things:

    1. Manually create resources and input data into TVs.

    2. Automate this insertion task.

Any tips or suggestions is greatly appreciated smiley

PS: Regarding the 5,000 resource "limit" on MODx 1.x.x, is there really such a limit? Or is this only true for cached pages?

    Cheers!
    Les

      Hi ganeshXL,

Thanks for the tips! The first looks basically like what I’m looking for. As for the latter, accessing the APIs via raw PHP means doing MODx actions via PHP commands and objects right, which means I can transform CSV data as arguments to a function that, let’s say, creates new resources in MODx?
