Hi People,
Something strange has happened. I have a snippet that has not been modified ( nor the snippet, nor the page that call it ).
Everything has been working fine for more than a year.
The project started using 0.9.6 and recently was migrated to EVO 1.0.4. Now I am having problems. I don’t exactly know if it was caused by the upgrade, but I think no, because the upgrade was a month ago and users has reported problems since yesterday.
Each time the page calling the snippet is requested, a parser error is generated:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '=' »
SQL: SELECT * FROM `salapara_modx`.`modx_site_snippets` WHERE `salapara_modx`.`modx_site_snippets`.name='?Y?u#n`??F??we?\n?P?9(F\r?????OO????\0jz??½&???vz??d???t?u?Q???|?&_PHX_INTERNAL_091_&go_???|Y?\Z-O?????N??P???&_PHX_INTERNAL_091_&?a&_PHX_INTERNAL_091_&G?????g';
I’ve changed the collation of database and all the tables to utf8_general_ci and nothing.
I’ve repaired tables and nothing.
It is strange to see: PHX_INTERNAL ( PHx Installed ) 2.1.3
With PHx disabled I get this error:
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '=' »
