    Hello -

I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I searched and could not find a solution.

I am working on a site in modX Revolution 2.0.0 and have set up friendly URLs and have modX set up to automatically create resource aliases. I have set up my stylesheet as a modX resource and am having trouble linking it to my templates. What I have discovered is that (for an example) if I title my CSS resource -- site.css -- modx automatically creates the resource alias "site.css". However, when I change the resource content type to "CSS" modX automatically appends an additional ".css" FURL to my file structure so the ultimate link is "domain/css/site.css.css"

I have found that if I just retitle the alias "site" without the .css it works fine and the link in the template works. I am just curious if there is a way or a system setting that i can change so that modX won’t automatically append the additional .css to save me a step from not having to manually enter the resource alias. I had previously been working with evolution and if I typed site.css and set the resources content type to css this was not ever a problem. If anyone knows a work around or a system setting that I can change to achieve this goal I would appreciate it. But if this is just the way it is, please let me know that as well and I will just continue the way I am proceeding.

    Thanks so much
