Hi!
I’ve found modx quite recently, so sorry for maybe inappropriate question.
I’m looking for a similar functionality to WordPress Download Monitor. Long story short, I’d like to add (upload) files to my website using modx manager providing some information about this files. Front-end user will be able to read those descriptions and download the file. Some statistics about amount of downloads, etc. would be nice, but are not necessary.

Thanks for help!

Any ideas? I’ve searched thru modx snippets in http://modxcms.com/extras/ with no satisfying results. Thanks for any advice/help.

Hi,
There is the FileLister component, although it’s not possible (yet?) to add a description to the file. See http://rtfm.modx.com//display/ADDON/FileLister
