You’d have to write a snippet to do it, though it shouldn’t be that difficult if you know PHP and xPDO.
[UPDATE] This will do what auto_alias does. Tested. Note: will not affect symlinks, weblinks, or static resources.
Just create a snippet called AutoAlias with this code:
<?php
/* AutoAlias snippet */
echo 'Setting Aliases';
$resources = $modx->getCollection('modResource', array('class_key'=>'modDocument'));
if (empty($resources)) {
return "No Resources Found";
}
foreach ($resources as $resource) {
if ($resource->get('alias') == '') {
$resource->set('alias',$resource->cleanAlias($resource->get('pagetitle')));
$resource->save();
}
}
return '<br />Done!';
Put this tag on a new page and visit it:
I don’t know which I love more, MODx or xPDO.
