    Hello,

the city-schoolserver of a former client has been attacked, and like many others the webside has been corrupted. Unfortunately the havent been very accurate with saving data etc. so it is my part now to bring the pages back to live. (I checked everthing by date of change, most of the files has been index.html, and some css-files and pictures all of them replaces by a text of "real adult indonesian superhackers ...blablabla"
Spending a little bit of time by finding the corrupted file and replaceing them, I now made an installation on a local xampp system, first of all updating the version to 1.04.

It worked on the others school pages, but here I get the following warnings. Can somebody help me to make it work again?

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\xampp\htdocs\sse\manager\includes\browsercheck.inc.php on line 16

Warning: fopen(C:/xampp/htdocs/sse/manager/media/style/MODxCarbon/login.html) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\sse\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 129

Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for C:/xampp/htdocs/sse/manager/media/style/MODxCarbon/login.html in C:\xampp\htdocs\sse\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 130

Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in C:\xampp\htdocs\sse\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 130

Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in C:\xampp\htdocs\sse\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 131

Me and a lot of 8 Years old will thank you.

At a glance, it looks like it’s looking in two different places for info
      C:\xampp\htdocs\sse\

      and here
      C:/xampp/htdocs/schmidtstrasse/

So maybe you’ve just got a path setting hardcoded somewhere that needs to be changed.

        Hi Matt,

thanks, but no. I just changed the original path for this forum, forgotting one line smiley, sorry my fault.

        Any other suggestions?

With the exception of the first error, the other lines appear to stem from not finding "login.html" in the MODxCarbon folder. Except that I can’t see such a folder in the Evo 1.0.4 tree. Looking at older distributions, it would appear that this must have been a 0.9.6.3 install that got hacked and that it had been using the default "MODx" style in the manager?? If so, then there was a login.html in that tree structure. Perhaps putting a copy of it in the current MODxCarbon folder will get you into the system such that you can do a repair/upgrade install?

I seem to recall seeing some forum posts on upgrading from 0.9.6.3 to 1.0.4 but don’t recall what the caveats were. But that’s where I’d start looking.
