I’ve been working on a medium sized website with a fair number of custom components; actually this is my first MODX website, so also a bit of a learning curve here.

As I get more proficient and gain understanding of the workings of MODX, I want to refactor some of the earlier work I did.

I find it quite a challenge to keep track of the way resources, chunks, snippets and TV’s are interrelated. It would be extremely helpful if there was some kind of dependencies graph in the manager that shows the relations between the different elements of the site. I know there’s the option of categorising elements, but that’s just grouping within a specific element of the site (chunk, snippet etc).

Am I the only one struggling with this??

Nope, I wish there was something like as well (and I’m talking for Evo). I’d like to think that some sort of sitemap or network analysis algorithm could be applied to a project/database. But I have no clue where to look for something like that.
