Is Multiple Domain support available yet?

Hi Guys,

I’ve not been on the forums for a while, but was wondering if there was any update on Multi Domain support in MODx i.e. does the new RC1 support it or Revo?

I’m finding now when managing websites for a client it is now becoming very time consuming checking all 30 MODx sites, upgrading etc and it would be great if I could just have a single install for the multiple sites.

Thanks Aaron

Revolution does, using what is called "Contexts". You can manage any number of Contexts directly from the tree. More documentation can be found here:

Thanks for the link that does look pretty neat I think I will have a play with that.

Aaron.

..and here’s a fairly new approach for the 0.9.6/Evo Branch:

Thanks for that aswell Sharkbait, I had just stumbled across that aswell but was hoping for a more simply approach.

I’m just about to install Revo on a test domain and have a play, if anyone has tried this in Revo it would be great to hear of any pro’s or cons or any problems which may arrise.
