    Hello,

    I’ve got a general question:
What is the possibility to define a parent for usergroups good for?
As far as I know, it’s not possible to inherit access permission to child-groups.

    Second thing I noticed:
If you’ve got quite a lot of user-groups for whatever reason, you may need a lot of form-customization – even if you want the same settings for most of the groups. It seems as if it isn’t possible to make some kind of „standard-customization“ for all of the groups and then just define exceptions for some special groups: The settings for all the groups seem to overwrite the ones for the „exceptions“. Am I right with this observation or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks a lot,
    ivan

On the note of inheriting permissions from parent usergroups, i could see the point in this.
Is this something that will be implemented?

That would be a great Feature Request: http://bugs.modx.com/

I’m not sure how the feature request works.
          Could you request it instead?
          Thanks!

EDIT: found out how to use it, and have requested it already.
