Hello there, I’m still quite new to Modx and Ditto so I need to ask for some help.
I would very much like to be able to grab content from a resource/document (page) and have it scroll in a marquee widget.
So far I know how to create the widget/Template Variable and place it in a template.
Rather than use a chunk containing HTML content, I would much prefer to call content from another resource as I said earlier.
I am convinced that there is a simple way to do this using a ditto call but I really don’t know how (The ditto site documentation seems to be down at the moment, 28th August 2010)
Could someone kindly post the code in reply for me.
Secondly is there a means of reversing the scroll direction of the marquee? Obviously you can change the orientation from vertical to horizontal but there is no attribute for altering the flow direction. I presume I might have to go into the source and change a parameter. Any ideas?
