Eliminating Menu Items

I am trying to clear out the menu items from the Manager View. For some odd reason I can seem to locate where I would do this. Does anyone know? I am tryign to clear out a few options without harming anything.

well i think that you should keep everything working for the main administrator user.
Now, the easy way to have a simplified admin menu is to create a user, editor, publisher or some new function you would invent and set its right.
This user(s) will have a simplified admin as they will only see what they are allowed to see that’s what i do for my clients for them not to be afraid of all they could have to do seing a complete admin menu when they will only edit/create pages

when connecting with the resricted rights user you should not see the unuseful menu items (at least, in evo it worked like this, not tested yet in revo)
