    Hello,
I just installed MODx Revolution and the Basic CMS functionality is easy to comprehend however I’m missing any documentation about the "application framework". My goal is to setup a site using MODx and add a lot of functiponality. Usually I would develop the application using Symfony and only use the users from the MODx DB. If MODx’s app framework proves powerfull enough I’d rather use it to learn something new.

Edit: In particular I have a fairly simple requirement to add additional data some registered users, give these user a public and private profile page and let them link their profiles (a very basic community demand). Therefore I’d like to solve this natively in MODx.
