I’m currently working on a site which has a news document, which contains lots of news updates.

My primary navigation for my website is implemented using Wayfinder as follows:

    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &outerTpl=outerNav &rowTpl=rowNav]]

This outputs links to the to two pages, neither of which is the news page.

What I am trying to do is to the link to the news page in fact a link to the latest child document contained within.

Is this possible? I tried this way:

    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &outerTpl=outerNav &rowTpl=rowNav &level=2 ]]

But this didn’t work. Is there a simple way to implement this?

Currently running latest release of Revolution on a MAMP install.

    Thanks!

      hi,

level is set by default to 0 in Wayfinder, then that mustn’t be your trouble reason.

Have you checked if those child news are published ?
if yes, did you checked hide from menu for those pages (often the case for news or so child pages...) ?
if yes and you want to keep it this way, you can show them in wayfinder with &ignoreHidden to false
