Recursion code to build an array of documents

Hi,

is there a piece of code that takes an ID and outputs an array with all the document ids?

E.g:

array(
16 => 0,
17 => array(
20 => 0,
21 => array(
30 => 0
)
),
);

where 16, 17 are children of the start ID and so on.

I tried to implement my own recursive function that uses getActiveChildren API but without luck.

I tried that as well and even more. I have some code but I think I’m stuck at passing the correct params to the recursive function.
