I’ve found blurbs saying Quick Manager should now be used instead of News Publisher to create blogs. But I can’t find any information on the WWW, wiki’s, modx documents that give the basics of using Quick Manager.

When you are logged in as a Manager user, you’ll get the QuickManager menu bar at the top of the page. It has a "create resource here" button that opens the same form that you get in the Manager for creating a resource. If you browse to one of your blog pages then use this, it will create a new page in the same container.
A good way to do this is to create a manager user whose login URL is one of the existing blog pages, then he’ll automatically be in the correct spot as soon as he logs in.
The QuickManager plugin itself has quite a few configuration options, including the ability to add custom buttons and hide default buttons.
OK - thanks for that. It doesn’t work well in my current installation. The Cancel button doesn’t work. And TinyMCE doesn’t work here or in the ManagerManager. I’ve already started moving everything over to a Linux server with Revolution (have Windows Server and Evolution now). We’ll see how that goes.
