      In what way, specifically?
MODx already uses jQuery in the ManagerManager & QuickManager plugins, also many snippets also use it, so yes it’s possible.

Almost all the templates I port into MODx use jQuery.

          Hello...

i had hundreds of problems with Jquery in modx but everything was because there are some plugging that works with Mootools.
SO. just find or set all the plugging for jquery and never mix mootools and jquery in the seem project. (there are a java code to fix this but i thing that is better dont mix codes)
so usually in the settings in every plunging there are the option Jquery and Mootools, tryto find it!

and another thing is that Modx Call Jquery automatically to be used wen you are logging and working with the mannager, so everithing works perfectly. But wen you are loggout, that is the problem, some jquery thing doesn.t work properly. So, my advise is that you need to call a jquery file by your self like normally you do in html:

          <script src="assets/templates/default/js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

do after that, Yes modX works perfectly with jquery, i really love jQuery and ModX is really Amazing!!!

i hope my answer helps! and sorry for my english is not my main language!!!

          grin grin grin see you!!!

This still gives me a little bit of a giggle every time I do it; I suppose eventually it will get tiresome. Check the contact button in the upper right. http://sottwell.com/

I’ve also implemented it elsewhere with pure AJAX; form load and form submission all done with jQuery and AJAX with eForm.

It can be a little frustrating at first but jQuery works great with MODx for the most part. I have added several functions of jQuery to menus, galleries and Cycle slideshows etc.

I think this would be the case if you were using the quickedit plugin in older versions of Evolution, but this is no longer the case with the newer versions I believe. If you do upgrade from an older version, be sure to disable the quickedit plugin and module. If you must use them, then just run jQuery in no conflict mode.

                    Nice. cool

If I weren’t so lazy, I’d add it to SPForm. tongue

                      hi,

i would just add that you can easily use jQuery with virtually any other js framework thanks to its no conflict mode.
Then, even when using plugins that are written with mootools, there should not be any problem

last but not least, you can now do the same with mootools as it has implemented a no conflict syntax for $ too.
