Is there a way to toggle the display of a template variable via another template variable on the document editing page on the admin side?
One example would be, if I have a radio button for enabling a list of checkbox items, I wouldn’t want those checkboxes to show if it’s not enabled.
Any ideas? I searched but came up with nothing and thought there would’ve been somebody who’s come across this before.
I think you could do it with a constraint on a TV Visible form customization rule in Revolution. In Evolution, I don’t think there’s any easy way to do it.
Yeah, I’m on Evo. That’s a shame.
One thing I’d like to see expanded upon in the future of MODx is the documentation for Template Variables. As powerful as they are/can be, there’s just not enough information there to really make full use without crawling the internet for hours.
Hey Bob, thanks for the link. It’s of some help to those new to Template Variables, I’m sure.
