    Hi . . .

    I want to remove the right column and make the site a two column site. I can do that with the modxhost sample template but not sure what to do with this one. I have the template html below. Thanks. Any guidance would be appreciated.

      In the INSTALL.txt I read this:
      5. Open the Template Variables tab. Create a new TV with the following values (the name is important):

      Template Variable Name: hideSidebar
      Caption: Hide right sidebar
      Description: hides the right sidebar for two-column layout
      Input Type: Radio Options
      Input Option Values: Hide Sidebar=={{twoColumns}}||Show Sidebar=={{threeColumns}}
      Default Value: @INHERIT

        I added that TV when I loaded it but it isn’t working . . . but do I need to assign it to the template? If so How do I assign the TV to the template?

        thanks,
        Daniel

          What’s the CMS, MODx Evolution or Revolution?

          In Evolution, open the TV on "Elements > Manage Elements > Template Variables", and select the Template on "Template Access".

            I am using the current version of Evolution. I did that but the right column is still there. I assigned the TV to the correct template. Am I missing something there?

            I added all the valuses as they are laid out below

            Template Variable Name: hideSidebar
            Caption: Hide right sidebar
            Description: hides the right sidebar for two-column layout
            Input Type: Radio Options
            Input Option Values: Hide Sidebar=={{twoColumns}}||Show Sidebar=={{threeColumns}}
            Default Value: @INHERIT

            Are the input values correct?

            Do I need to assign a widget?

            Do I need to assign a Category for it to work?

              I think that you should open all resources that you have created and select the "Hide Sidebar" radio button and save (this for every parent page). Children pages will inherit the value.
