Wrapper for Modx?

I’ve tried searching for "wrapper" and came up with a post http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,1294.0.html that is dated back to 2005 but I couldn’t get it to work with Modx 1.04. Is there a new snippet, module, plugin that allows modx to wrap a doc, pdf, ppt or xls file instead of having to link to it?

Thanks but I was looking for something that will work in evo 1.04 that says it is for revolution.
