    Hello everyone, thanks for reading.

I have a modx 1.0.4 installation that allows for multiple web users. Registration is open, but permissions are limited to the interior home page until a Manager grants them permissions manually (to ensure they only see what we want them to).

The page they can view lets them know that their credentials are being reviewed, but what I’d really like to do is somehow automatically send an email to the user when their permissions have been set (Manager Action "Manage Web Users"), something generic to say "Thank you for registering. Your account has been reviewed and granted access to the website. Please login using the password that was emailed to you when you registered."

Is there a snippet or other known method I can use to create this automated process?

    Thanks in advance!

I believe that WebLoginPE has this feature, although I’m not sure. In any case, you could always make a plugin to work on the OnSaveWebUser event, and have it check for what was done and email if appropriate.
