I have a bunch of folders that contain Evolution sites than run under an older version of MAMP (1.7.2)

In order to obtain the new version of PHP required to run Revolution 2.0 I downloaded the new MAMP (1.9). I got Revolution to install on my MacBook Pro using this new version of MAMP.

The issue I am having is running my Evolution sites that given databases under the old version of MAMP. I still have both versions of MAMP on my system but I cannot seem to run the Evo sites. How do I consolidate all the databases to run both my old Evo sites and my new Revo test sites? Is this possible?

    Thanks!

Found some good info by following this:
Step 1) Rename your already existing copy of MAMP "MAMP_old" or even the version number of MAMP such as "MAMP_184." Anything to get both folders sitting next to each other without overwriting each other. For this example, I will call it "MAMP_old."
Step 2) Open "MAMP_old" and take the two folders "db" and "htdocs" and either move or copy them to the new "MAMP" you just installed. Overwrite what is already there; it’s all good.
Step 3) Start MAMP and once the two green lights for "Apache Server" and "MySQL Server" are green, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Upgrade MySQL databases." Click upgrade and wait. When it’s done, click "Done."

Now your new version of MAMP should be fully upgraded with your db and htdocs.

But if you manually tweaked your php.ini file or any settings from the orginal MAMP, you need to make the same adjustments on the new MAMP. DO NOT simply copy "php.ini" over. Run the files through a diff and go through each diff to make sure you’re adjusting the right thing.

As far as Zend Optimizer goes, it’s incompatible with PHP 5.3. Do a Google search and you’ll see this is the case for all platforms and installs.
