I installed revolution for a client but I do not see a WYSIWYG interface. Does Revolution come with one?

    thanks,

You have to download and install a WYSIWYG editor.

Go to System->Package Management and click on the "Download Extras" button. Put TinyMCE in the search box. Once it appears in the PM grid, click on the "Install" button.

Will do . . . thanks. Evolution seems so much easier and too the point.

I think it depends a lot on what you’re used to. If you were used to Revolution and went the other way, I think it would be a lot worse.

In the case you’re dealing with, MODx Evolution installs a whole bunch of add-on components, many of which you’ll never use, so in Revolution, your site is lean and mean and contains only what you need. It also gives you the opportunity to update the existing add-ons with a few clicks (and lets you know when there’s an update available). Try that in Evolution. wink

I like revolution from a developer standpoint, but I really hope to see a public site editor in the near future for my clients.

You can’t beat quick update ease of use factor. I even liked the evolution edit document drop down, any way to do it so I don’t need to guide non-techies through the manager.

Anyhow, thanks for your time. And Bob thanks for the really easy contact form, that was cool.
