In Revo, I’m trying set up a PDF file as a static resource. I’ve uploaded the file and I’ve created a new content type called PDF with a mime type of "application/pdf".
The file downloads properly - with the pdf file extension that I specified in my content type. When I try to open the file with Adobe Reader it gives me the following error:
"Adobe Reader could not open ’calendar-download-1.pdf’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded)."
However, the file opens file in Preview.app (Mac OS X), but alerts me that file is an application downloaded from the internet.
When I link DIRECTLY TO the file - not using the static resource method, the PDF works as expected, opening just fine in all PDF readers and without the "application downloaded from the internet" message.
Any thoughts on this? This particular site is hosted on Apache 1.3.33, running Revo. I’d obviously love to use the static resource approach in revo.

Double-check the Content Type and make sure it is set to binary.
