I’m not holding it back because of changes. I’m waiting for the copy editor to finish. I’m adding changes to MODx while I’m waiting, but as soon as the copy editing is done, it’s going into production.

Yeah, if he waited for changes we made, it’d never release. 100% my fault. I just add things at random into Revo mostly to mess with Bob.
I think I know the real reason because I do it too (see my recent pull request for xPDO): It’s to avoid doing other work that’s less fun.
