I don’t know if this relates to any changes on modx but I’ve noticed that my max_execution_time value isn’t what it should be. I’m currently on the following software releases:

    Apache 2.0.63
    Php 5.2.11
    MySql 5.0.51
    W2K3 Server

I’ve set my execution time in the php.ini at 3000 seconds. When I view phpinfo via the manager I get the local value at 3000 and the master value at 3000. If I put phpinfo in a snippet or program I get different values:

    Local: 60
    Master: 3000

If I use a php file with phpinfo() direct I get:

    Local: 3000
    Master: 3000

Whats going it? I’m finding a couple of pages are timing out, no I can see why but I just dont understand. The only way I can increase the execution time is to add set_time_limit into the program.

      hi,

with some server configurations, you sometimes have to put a php.ini file in every directory you want to modify it, have a try, it could be the answer

(now, wow 3000 seconds, if ever you have a script that needs such an exe time, maybe you could have a little rewriting at it... except if you really want to put your server on its knees as we say in french... smiley)
