Yeah, that’s always a good feeling when something actually works like it’s supposed to grin

I’m alone in the office today... there was no one to share my joy... hope you didn’t mind my excitement smiley

P.S. From the site, I can log in, and as you instructed earlier, it brings the user to the "home page". The "Log out" link isn’t shown. Did I miss something obvious?

Also, I’m hoping to find a way for the staff members to communicate with each other with a forum or blog of sorts. I haven’t started to look for ideas yet, but do you have any direction? Is there anything on your site that might have a ready made snippet/chunk/coolgadget thingy?

About the only thing that’s immediately usable for that sort of thing would be Jot, which is a commenting system that could be used as a poor man’s chat or very simple forum type thing. Or at least I’ve used it for that before, and it was quite successful.

Blogs are done by creating resources in a container resource, then using Ditto to aggregate them in a list, as I do with my articles and various other bloggy-type sections.

The logout link is part of the template; anywhere the WebLogin snippet is placed should be showing a logout link if you’re logged in. Do you have the WebLogin snippet somewhere on the login landing page?

After the user logs in, they are redirected to the Login Home Page that I created. The Log Out link is not there. However, when I did NOT have them redirected to the Login Home Page, the Log out link was there. Any reason why it’s showing up there and not on the Login Home Page?

Do you have [!WebLogin!] snippet in that Login Home Page? If you do, it will detect (from the SESSION) that the user is logged in, and will display the logout link.

If you’re curious, take a look at this page http://sottwell.com/article-sessions.html and log in as test - testing to see what a SESSION looks like. In time you’ll probably want to use some of that information to customize a user’s experience, or check for specific items.
