    Can you help me?
I integrated design template +business (http://www.sharemania.ru/0224701) to site and now I have 5 pages - "main", "About us", "News", "Service" and "Contact information".
I made main menu that shows pseudonyms of pages. And I have a problem with menu - when I’m trying to go to any page from main, ModX shows the message of 404 error. But when I press "View" button in modX manager on each one of the pages, current page is opening with no problems.
What should I do to fix menu? smiley

How is your menu generated? Is it hard-coded, or are you using Wayfinder?

Apparently your MODx is installed in the /0224701 folder. Are you using friendly URLs? Did you set up the .htaccess file correctly (with the RewriteBase /0224701 setting)?

          Thanks for reply! smiley
          1). I’m using Wayfinder snippet
2). ModX is installed in the directory of site on localhost, then: "/site_name"
3). Yeah, "Using friendly URLs" function is on
4). Can you say more about.htaccess file? I don’t know exactly how to configure it.
          Sorry for bad English...

The .htaccess file has a line
            RewriteBase /

If your MODx installation is in the web root, this works. But if it’s installed in a subdirectory, then that needs to be changed to
            RewriteBase /subdirectory-name

Otherwise, when Apache does the rewriting of the requested URL, it will expect to find the rewritten URL (index.php?q=alias) in the web root, which of course will fail, since it’s actually /subdirectory-name/index.php?q=alias that it wants.

.htaccess has line "rewrite base /" and I have ModX installed in the site root directory: "localhost/www/Site_name". Then it must work.
But what should I do to fix menu? It’s my only question in this topic. For more information read previous posts smiley
