    Hi

I’m using modx 1.0.4 and building a site revolving around mobile phones. I’m trying to figure out whats the best way to build a review/feedback system for a given phone. The review would be basically a comment, user name and a few fields which rate the phones battery life, functionality, build quality etc basically like http://www.3-contracts.co.uk/sony-ericsson-w995.html (click on opinions)
The admin would then have to accept the review separately.

I thought the best way to do this would be to use jot http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Jot but would like comments on if anyone has done the same?

Jot will work just fine. Keep in mind that all of the custom fields are stored as string, so sorting by them can be tricky if you think you have an integer field (10 will come before 2, for example). If you need to sort by an integer field for some reason, use the "parent" field in the main Jot table; it isn’t used for anything and is an integer field.

I have even been successful in inserting the usual file and image browsers, as well as the Rich Text editor into Jot’s form tpl.
