I have modx running under mamp as a testing server an everything is fine.
I run into trouble with Plesk running on my Server however, I get permission errors during the install which are related to the user/groups that the domains run as in Plesk. Has anyone had any experience in getting this cms to work under Plesk using the default domain user/group - what needs to be changed to get a working/secure install.
I have chmod’ed core/cache core/components and assets/components to 777 and now have a running manager.
However, this may be a revo bug or a server issue but when I choose and new package there are no providers listed and after creating a document none show up in the tree (this only happens on the server, not the testing server...)

Re: Package Management, it most likely is either an issue with cURL not being enabled, or other security restrictions being enabled on the server.
Indeed, I switched over to a cPanel/WHM server instead - the guys at eurovps did it for nothing - so a Big thank you to them
