Hi everyone,
2 weeks ago I discovered Goodbarry.com aka Business Catalyst and was really stunned by the completeness of the integrated cms, crm and ecommerce funcionality. But it has a big downside: Its only available On Demand and the contentmanagement part isnt nearly as flexible as ModX. Besides that, I love ModX and dont want to leave it
Now the question arose to me and my business partner, if something like goodbarry could be built on top of ModX or ModX Revolution. We are not programmers, Im merely a webdesigner and my partner is a businessman.
Thats why Im asking the question to all of you ModX heroes and gurus
Would it be possible to do something like that, an integrated solution with at least those features:
Website Analytics (Has to track all actions of the customers, icluding detailed reports)
Ecommerce
CRM (Every lead should create a new customer and a formmanager should be included to alter or create form fields for cutomer Data)
Email Marketing (Has to include complete tracking and Campaigns)

Now, what would something like this take? How much time, how many developers, how much money? Are there other people besides us who are interested in something like this, maybe even willing to throw in some money or workpower? We thought, maybe if we could gather enough people like us, willing to pay or work for it, we could get enough money and manpower together to get this thing done?
Does this sound totally absurd or even crazy, may it because of the limitations of ModX or the amount of work which had to be done? Or is this something that is possible?
