Initial login fails after installation

    I have just successfully installed modx on Windows XP running IIS 5.1.

    When trying to login in though I just get presented with the login page again. I think the authentication is working as if I enter invalid details I get the ’Incorrect username or password entered!’ message. Also when the page reloads after entering the correct details the login form inputs are not editable.

    Hopefully someone can help!

      There are two different versions of MODx, please specify which you are discussing or post in forum for specific version. Also, you should include basic information about your environment. Please see http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,489.0.html

        Sorry about the lack of details.

        I have installed MODx Evolution 1.0.4. I am running PHP version 5.2.0 with CGI on IIS 5.1 with Windows XP Service Pack 3. MySQL is version 5.1.38-community and I browsing with Firefox 3.6.6.
