Local modx to upload on my server with FTP

Is there a way to do that?

I’ve tried the import/export tool, but it messes things up all around BIG TIME and would like take me 2-3 hours to fix.

Is there an easier way to do this?

In case you dont understand:
MODx is installed in my xampp on my local server and it’s all good. But I want it live now on my own domain. Why can’t I just export the database from the local and import it to the host’s phpmyadmin?

well, you can (i would even say, it’s the good way to do that )

the only thing is that you must change de db connections data in manager -> includes -> config.inc.php to have it work on your distant server

something else, in the manager, have an eye at the site tools config, a few things will be different online (the file manager path for example)
