    Hi all,

I am creating a site that showcases medical supplies.
I have created a Product Catalog using ditto and resources.
There are 15 product ranges with as many as 1 up to 40 products per range. Each range of products has different TV’s assigned to products.

My question is, what is the best way to handle this?

    This is my solution:
    1. Create all TV’s
    2. Create multiple templates per product range
    3. Assign tv’s to templates.

My concern about this is, that i will have 1 main template and 15 others for the product ranges as well as up to 50 different TV’s. This seems like a bit of a mess.

Has anyone attempted something along these lines before? and is there a more streamlined way of doing this?

    Thanks
    Garth

EDIT: Sorry,i realized i have already posted something similar to this a few days ago

If i’m understanding your requirements to be a repaeting region...

I believe you can actually assign a templates option to TinyMCE which in turn displays a html template you create for your repeating content. You can then apply as many times as required. So you make up a repeated region if you like.
I have nver managed to successfully achieve this though. I’ve got as far as displaying the templates button on the options panel but have not been able to view any templates in the templates area.
      There’s a link to a similar thread here:http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=30069.0

If you find a way to successfully do this please post.

      Cheers
