    Does anyone know how to change the editor for a specific template only, possibly using ManagerManager? I haven’t been able to work it out.

    Throughout most of my site I’m using EditArea, but on this particular template (a catalog listing) I want to default to TinyMCE.

    This being Modx, I’m fairly confident there should be a way to do it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

        I don’t think there’s a way to do this without getting your hands dirty (assuming Evolution), but if it’s really important, you might check out manager/actions/mutate_content.dynamic.php. From there, check out line 163ish, and try something like this:

        <?php

        if (isset ($_POST['which_editor'])) {
             $which_editor = $_POST['which_editor'];
        } else if ($content['template'] == 42) {
             $which_editor = 'TinyMCE';
        }

        ?>

        I’m not positive on the syntax for $which_editor (you might have to try a different string) and you would obviously have to replace 42 with the id of the template you’d like to use TinyMCE on, but that’s where I’d start.
