If you go to plugins section and open the ManagerManager plugin there should be a tab called configuration. On this tab go to the plugin configuration area and the first field should be Configuration Chunk

going back to 1.0.3 was easy for me as it was a fresh install, so i just deleted and started again.

    Other things to try -

    • double check that all permissions are correct (maybe run the modx install/upgrade again.)
    • disable the YAMS module and plugin

Hi there. I think mjm’s advice is good; disable the YAMS plugin and module to check it is part of the problem. I would also try disabling ManagerManager. I suspect that if you are having problems saving chunks then this has nothing to do with either YAMS or ManagerManager though. More likely that an RTE is trying to take control of the chunk text box, or you have a corrupt database, or something else.

You’re saying you use 1.0.4, but your screenshots show 1.0.2 in the top right corner? Sounds like something went wrong with the upgrade.. ?

I’d try an upgrade install again (untick all snippets/plugins etc).

oh weird..I swear I’ve run the install 2-3 times now. Is there anywhere that lists what the permission on the various manager directories/files should be, so I can make sure they’re being updated/overwritten?

Just upload all files to the server of the .zip/.tar.gz package (including the manager and assets folder, not just the install) and run the installer (server.com/install) in upgrade mode. AFAIK you don’t need special permissions for an upgrade install.
