I have been asked to re-design a website. The site was built using MODx - imagine my luck! The person who did it completely customized the admin area with their own labels and version numbers. I need to know what version is being used. Any way to find that in some of the code?
Thanks for the help.

You can look in manager/includes/version.inc.php
or put this in a snippet:
$v = $modx->getVersionData();
$version = $v['version'];
$smallVersion = $v['small_version']
echo "Version: ".$version."<br>";
echo "Small Version: ".$smallVersion."<br>";

Not sure that will work The guy changed it to his own version, as well (1.0) Ditto is version 2.0 so I was thinking it should at least be v 0.9.5, but I’m not certain.

I looked in a 095 version I have and in the (manager/includes/footer.inc.php) this line is
not there:
if(IN_MANAGER_MODE!="true") die("<b>INCLUDE_ORDERING_ERROR</b>
Please use the MODx Content Manager instead of accessing this file directly.");
It is present in all versions after that though. Maybe that will help

Does the snippet I posted report 1.0?

Won’t have access for a few days. Will report then.
