Is there a way to restrict access into the site by using WebLogin snippet?

Is there a way to restrict access into the site by using WebLogin snippet? Like if a user wants to access a MODx built website but he’s not a member of "web users" is it possible to restrict him from entering?

Sure. Just assign all of your resources to a resource group connected to a web user group (in the Manager, the Security -> Web Permissions menu item) that your web users (Security -> Web Users) will belong to. You’ll need to leave one resource publicly available as an "Unauthorized" page, though, perhaps with a login form and/or a registration form? Specify resource in the Configuration (Tools -> Configuration, and the Site tab) to be the Unauthorized page.
