Hi, I’ve found a very strange and annoying bug with modX (using version 1.0.2). Every time I go and open up a page for editing, and choose No Editor instead of TinyMCE, I notice that it’ stripped out a div that I use to call a Javascript slideshow.
The body markup for it is simply: <div id="fadeshow1"></div>
modX removes it completely- so if a user were to edit the page and then save it, they’d find that the slideshow is no longer called!
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this? Amazed that it hasn’t been sorted in a bug fix?
Thanks
Yeah, back on the other site it worked fine but not this one. Maybe it’s a config issue- I’ll rummage around and see if anything is different... thanks...

Do you need the <div> in the content, wouldn’t it be better in the template?
You could also completely disable the RTE (on the Page Settings tab) to avoid TinyMCE modifying what you’re doing.
