    Hello all...

I’m trying to set up some static resources that link to PDF’s in the assets folder, but whenever a visitor clicks on the link in the front end, the file that’s downloaded is 0 bytes large (obviously wrong), and thus contains no data. This applies only to to PDF’s, as I tested with other file types (css, .png, .jpg) and it seemed to download the entire file.

I’m confused as to what the issue could be - I previously had the downloads working on a testing site, but after following directions on this forum on transferring sites from one host to another I was fairly positive that I turned everything back on...

    Thanks!

I checked the file sizes via ftp and they look right, and directly linking via weblink or manually typing in the url of the pdf gives me the complete file.

I’ve moved on after discovering my client disagreed with the Static Resource changing the file name linked by the static resource on download, so I just went ahead and weblinked to the PDF’s, but I’d surely like to know what’s up though, even if it could be something wrong with the file on the server.
