I’m beginning to get really frustrated, ModX is cool and all but simple tasks like printing out specific menu items are way bigger problems than they ought to be. I’ve spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why this one-row-code Wayfinder request won’t work -
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`[49]` &level=`2`]]
ID 49 has a number of children that I want to display. I’ve tried other options such as
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`[49]` &level=`1`]]
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`[49]` &level=`1` display=`1`]]
(and 2 instead of 1)
These references to submenus and displays are so confusing. What am I missing out?

That snippet call will generate a two-level nested unordered list using the children and grandchildren of resource #49.
What is it that you expect it to do?
