I’ve tried using Wayfinder as much as I can but I can’t come up with a good solution for representing certain links in a menu. I have 11 menu items in total, and at three places on the site that I’m developing I need to output these in different manners. Could someone pinpoint what I should be looking for? Or is this only possible by using a custom made snippet/plug-in?
[[Wayfinder? &startId=0 &level=1 &excludeDocs=49,61,55]]
is an example of a solution I’ve come up with but with displeasing results. I can’t change a particular link text here, nor arrange the order they appear.

What does your site structure look like? Perhaps there can be some improvements towards your structure.
Wayfinder does accept some parameter to choose which field to use for the link text, you could use that to change the link text.
&textOfLinks
Default: menutitle
what database field do you want the actual link text to be? Use the following values: menutitle, id, pagetitle, description, parent, alias, longtitle, introtext
My structure is quite simple. When I created the menu I only knew of Wayfinder and tried to make each group as close to each other as possible (for example I wanted to print out Assurances, Press, Jobs and Support at one place on the site).

I’ll try out &textOfLinks.
