    Hello,

My apologies in advance, this question has probably already been answered but I was unable to find anything.

How do I create a menu item which isn’t a resource itself but will appear in the menu (wayfinder) as a <li> but not a link as well.

What I have been doing up until now is creating a weblink and setting the url to ’#’ so the link doesn’t go anywhere. But I have just setup breadcrumbs and this points to the ’url’ of the resource but I would rather it wasn’t a link at all.

    Any help is much apreciated!

p.s. I’m really new to modx, but really loving it - done one site which was fairly simple and was a breeze to setup and now I’m working away at another more complex one

Possibly strip out the html anchors using pHx in your Wayfinder template chunks.
        Mostly harmless.

Perhaps you need multiple Wayfinder calls; you can fudge the outerTpl to not have the full outer tags. For example the first Wayfinder’s outerTpl would just have the starting <ul>[+wf.wrapper+], then you could put your whatever-it-is in <li>...</li> tags, then the final Wayfinder call would have its outerTpl be [+wf.wrapper+]</ul>.
