    Hi,

on an new design I am trying, using 960 fixed grid, lavalamp menu, the lavalamp menu has a strange 40px padding I cant get rid of.
In the chrome dev tools it shows as
    webkit-padding-start: 40px
on the UL for that menu.
Now I am using a reset style sheet, tried more but that does not change anything. Off course I can correct the situation by giving a -40px margin to the surrounding div. But that’s not very nice, plus I think that might give browser compatibility problems. Anyone?

    gr fr.

I’ve just been getting that on an open source template I’m using.
Add a class or id to the <ul> and set the padding to zero for it.
Seems to solve the problem in Safari & Chrome smiley
